SHUSHI. – Hakob Gyurjyan International Symposium on sculpture launched in Shushi, dedicated to the famous sculptor from Shushi.

The symposium will be held on July 15-29 in Karabakh. Nagorno-Karabakh holds such the event for the first time.

Fifteen sculptors will create one sculpture each. They are free in selecting the theme.

“We will have a city under the open air with 150 sculptures in ten years,” the author of the symposium sculptor Vigen Avetis told.

Lectures, master-classes, exhibitions and movies will be held in the frameworks of the event. Rector of Rome Academy of Fine Arts, professor Gerardo Lo Russo will be the honorable guest of the symposium.
