At first glance it may seem that artificial intelligence has nothing to do with politics, it seems distant from our sphere of activity, Thomas Schrapel, the head of regional programs of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation siad.

His remarks came during the conference on Artificial Intelligence Prospects in Armenia on January 31.

The event was organized one year after a very important event for Armenia and its people.

"It's very important that Armenia, after all that happened, was able to find the strength to look forward. Artificial Intelligence could be the future for the economy of the republic, a good chance for both Armenia and all Armenians. All this may allow us to create a good and bright future. In Germany we don't have a ministry for high-tech industries like in Armenia. I will definitely tell my colleagues in Berlin and other cities that we, if necessary, will have to adopt Armenia's experience. It will be very interesting for the new German government. The proposal to hold this event came from the Prime Minister's Office, and I am very glad that we were able to make it happen," Thomas Schrapel said.
