The Pentagon will announce that US troops will be deployed to Eastern Europe in the coming days, a US official told Reuters.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Biden has sent more than 3,000 US troops to support European allies.
About 2,000 US troops will be deployed from the United States to Poland and Germany, and about 1,000 from Germany to Romania, according to Journal.
