During a briefing of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, the sides signed an agreement on a free trade zone, the TV channel 112 Ukraine reported.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal and Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Mush signed a free trade agreement between the government of Ukraine and the Government of Turkey.

The Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yulia Svyrydenko said that this is not only an agreement on trade but also an agreement on mutual investments and production cooperation. Thus, Turkey significantly expands the sectors in which Ukrainian companies will be able to work on a permanent basis. Ukraine encouraged Turkish enterprises to work in its territory.  According to minister, the agreement can give an annual growth of 2% to GDP.
