Specialists from Azerbaijan are participating in the development of the new Bayraktar TB3 drones of Turkey. The statement came from Selcuk Bayraktar, chairman of the TEKNOFEST festival board and of the T3 Foundation, the Azerbaijani media reported.

The new Bayraktar TB3 combat drones can stay in the air longer—up to 50 hours—than other similar drones.

"Currently, work is underway to improve the prototype of the Bayraktar TB3. We hope Bayraktar TB3 will make its first flight in 2022," said Selcuk Bayraktar, Anadolu Agency reported.

The head of the T3 Foundation called the Bayraktar TB2 drones the best in their class, and confirmed that interest in them had increased after the military aggression against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in the fall of 2020. According to him, these drones can be effective not only on the battlefield, but also in extinguishing fires and eliminating the aftermath of earthquakes.
