YEREVAN. - Activities of the Council of Europe are of high importance for Armenia, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan stated at the meeting with PACE Co-Rapporteur on Armenia Axel Fischer in Yerevan on Wednesday.

Serzh Sargsyan highly appreciated the cooperation with Council of Europe and Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Armenian leader said he emphasized the importance of cooperation in his recent speech at PACE.

The ongoing reforms in various spheres of Armenia and domestic political developments were focal points at the meeting.
