The conclusion of a peace agreement with Azerbaijan and the normalization of relations with Turkey is one of the goals of the current Government of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted on Wednesday at the parliament meeting.

According to him, this was the goal of all previous governments.

“In Armenia and beyond, on the one hand, they are trying to create the impression that someone is imposing their will on the republic, and on the other hand, that Armenia is deviating from the existing agenda. However, the signing of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, the normalization of relations with Turkey and the consolidation of all this with an appropriate document is the goal of our government. This was the goal of all the governments of Armenia. The signing of a peace treaty is the goal of the negotiation process on the Karabakh issue. This is recorded in all documents. Are we ready to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan? Yes,” Pashinyan said.

According to Pashinyan, the goal of the negotiations has always been to sign a peace agreement.

“We are ready for a specific and substantive discussion,” the Prime Minister added.
