Armenia should 'seize chance' and 'reconsider its positions,' said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on the air of the TRT Haber TV channel.

The future and destiny of Turkey and Azerbaijan are closely linked, he noted.

Cavusoglu added that after the 44-day war, which put an end to the long-term Karabakh conflict, the South Caucasus faced new realities, opening the way for long-term peace and stability in the region.

"Armenia should seize the chance and reconsider its positions. The special representatives of Turkey and Armenia will meet in Vienna on February 24. The meeting place was proposed by Armenia and we did not oppose it. Turkey discusses steps on Armenia with Baku at every stage. Azerbaijan also stands for long-term peace with Armenia. We are not naive. At the same time, we are aware of the need for decisive steps,” the Turkish FM noted.
