Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, who has been in isolation since Saturday after contracting a coronavirus, has tested negative for COVID-19, Anadolu reported citing his doctor.

Erdogan said on Saturday that he had tested positive for Omicron strain.

Erdogan's doctor Serkan Topaloglu said that the Turkish president would return to his regular program very soon.
