YEREVAN. – A total of 6.9% of Yerevan residents unequivocally approve of the possible reopening of the Armenian-Turkish border, 15.6% rather approve, 7.6% rather disapprove, 54.6% do not approve at all, and 15.3% could not answer. Aram Navasardyan, director of the Gallup International Association in Armenia, told about this at a press conference Friday, presenting the results of a recent telephonic survey they conducted with the residents of the Armenian capital.
Navasardyan added that as per this survey, 18.2% of Yerevan residents unequivocally approve of the Armenian government's decision to lift the embargo on imports of Turkish goods, 20% rather approve, 11.8% rather disapprove, 39.2% do not approve at all, and 10.8% could not answer..
The aforesaid telephonic survey was conducted with 800 Yerevan residents, and from January 24 to February 2.
