Turkey and the UAE signed 13 cooperation agreements in various fields during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Abu Dhabi, Anadolu reported.

During the meeting, agreements were signed between Turkey and the UAE on cooperation in defence industry, health, climate change, industry, technology, economy, culture, agriculture, trade, transport, disaster management, meteorology, etc.

Erdogan, who last visited the UAE in 2013, said at a press conference at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport before his departure that Turkey and the UAE began a new era in bilateral relations with the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to Ankara last November.

Earlier, Turkey's Communications Authority announced that during Erdogan's visit, bilateral relations between Turkey and the UAE and steps to deepen cooperation will be discussed.
