Israel will start easing coronavirus restrictions.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that the validity of the so-called "green passes" (digital vaccination passport) will not be extended after March 1, the Jerusalem Post reported.
According to him, it was possible to break the omicron wave, in connection with which additional reductions in restrictions are coming.
While the number of new infections remains high, the Israeli Ministry of Health reports a steady decline in serious cases of COVID-19 after the peak of the country's omicron wave earlier in February.
