At around 5am Thursday, Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian state border—from Russia and Belarus—according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
"The attacks on [Ukrainian] border units, border guards and checkpoints are carried out using artillery, heavy equipment, and firearms. (…). In addition, an attack is carried out from Crimea. Also, the work of the adversary's subversive-intelligence groups is being recorded," the respective statement reads, Ukrayinska Pravda reported.
