The head of the Kharkiv regional administration of Ukraine, Oleg Sinegubov, wrote on Facebook that the Russian troops had entered Kharkiv city, RBC reports.
According to him, the Russian "light [military] equipment" is in Kharkiv, including in the central part of the city.
A curfew had been declared in the Kharkiv region, from 6pm Saturday to 6am Sunday.
