More than 500,000 refugees have now fled from Ukraine into neighboring countries, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said on Twitter.
He had earlier written that the number of refugees from Ukraine who have moved to Poland, Hungary, Romania, Moldova and other countries is increasing to 368,000.
"The governments and people of those countries are welcoming refugees. It is now urgent to share this responsibility in concrete ways," he said.
