Secretary of State Antony Blinken thanked Turkey for its implementation of the Montreux Convention.
In a phone talk with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Blinken expressed appreciation for Turkey's continued implementation of the Montreux Convention and his recent comments on the issue, according to the State Department.
The Secretary of State also thanked Turkey for its strong support in defending Ukraine and its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
