NATO does not see the need to change the level of alert of nuclear weapons, despite the threats of Russia, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told The Associated Press.
“We will always do what is needed to protect and defend our allies, but we don’t think there is any need now to change the alert levels of NATO’s nuclear forces,” Stoltenberg said.
Putin ordered Monday the containment forces of the Russian army to be transferred to a special mode of combat duty.
