US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will visit Istanbul and Ankara on March 4-5.
Sherman will meet with Deputy Foreign Secretary Sedat Onal and other officials to discuss Putin's deliberate, unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine, the State Department said.
The meetings will include discussion of further joint US-Turkish cooperation and common interest in supporting Ukraine.
After Turkey, Sherman will go to Spain, Morocco, Algeria and Egypt.
