Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh David Babayan had call with U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone, Co-Chairman of the Congressional Group on Armenian Affairs, NKR MFA press service reported.

The sides discussed issues related to the settlement process of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, the current situation in Artsakh, the works carried out to eliminate the consequences of the war, as well as the latest geopolitical developments.

David Babayan stressed that the aggressive policies of Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as their close links with international terrorist organizations, are a serious threat to regional and global security, and if appropriate measures are not taken in time, the consequences will be disastrous.

Minister expressed gratitude to Congressman Pallone for his continuous support to Artsakh, for his contribution to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the fight against its denial, as well as for his assistance in solving various pan-Armenian issues.

Robert Avetisian, the Permanent Representative of Artsakh to the United States and Canada, as well as other officials attended the online meeting.
