The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel expect to conclude a comprehensive economic partnership agreement by the end of March this year, UAE Ambassador to the Jewish State, Mohamed Al Khaja tweeted.

The UAE and Israel hope to conclude a comprehensive economic partnership agreement by the end of this month. The UAE is confident that this agreement with Israel will serve as a catalyst for even greater economic prosperity, he said.

Today, there are agreements between the two states on air traffic, visa-free regime, investment protection and cooperation in science and technology, as well as a number of memorandums of understanding.

In September 2020, in Washington, the Israeli side, with the mediation of the United States, signed documents on the normalization of relations with the UAE and Bahrain. In the West, the tripartite deal was called the Abraham Accords.

Subsequently, Sudan and Morocco announced the normalization of relations with Israel. Prior to the conclusion of peace with the UAE and Bahrain, the Jewish state from the Arab countries had diplomatic relations only with Egypt and Jordan.
