TBILISI. - A citizen of Armenia died in one of Tbilisi’s cemeteries.

82-year-old Sarkis Adamanyan, who came from Armenia to Georgia to visit the graves of his parents, died on July 25 at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery of Tbilisi.

According to rescuers, Adamanyan tried to extinguish the fire that broke out in the graveyard but after his attempts proved unsuccessful he decided to leave the territory.

Rescue officers found him on an iron fence, which he apparently tried to climb over but failed.

According to the sources, the Adamanyan got burns on his body, but preliminary data says the man died of a heart attack.

Investigation is underway.
