European Union leaders have said they will continue to put pressure on Russia by drafting a new set of sanctions.
Senior EU diplomat Josep Borrell said 27 officials attending the two-day summit near Paris would agree to provide an additional 500 million euros to Ukraine's military aid fund.
Earlier, the EU agreed to spend 450 million euros on military supplies for Ukrainian forces.
