Additional US sanctions against Russia prohibit the export, re-export, sale or supply of US dollars to Russia.
This follows a decree signed by President Joe Biden.
The White House prohibited the exportation, re-exportation, sale, or supply, directly or indirectly, from the United States, or by a United States person of U.S. dollar-denominated banknotes to the Russian government or any person located in Russia.
