MOSCOW. - Information on people making purchases from various internet stores, including sex shops appeared on Russian Yandex public search engine.

The network has got everything: names, surnames and contact information of the clients, reports Cnews.ru.

Information leakage occurred due to improper use of robots.txt file, which protects information from indexing by search engines.  

"We recommend to administrators to carefully study the robots.txt file and its correct use," said the representative of Yandex, noting that personal data of customers can be seen in Google search as well.

The data can be obtained by typing inurl: 0 inurl: b inurl: 1 inurl: c order status. The search results reveal the names of buyers, their contact details and information about purchases.
