The share of transfers in Armenia's GDP decreased from 15% to 7-8%.
The share of transfers from Russia reduced from 80% to 40%, which reduces the economic effect of the expected 20% reduction in transfers. The remarks came by the Director of the Monetary Policy Department of the Central Bank of Armenia Hayk Avetisyan at the meeting with journalists on Tuesday.
According to estimates of the head of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan, the sphere of tourism will recover. "We won't reach the indicators of 2019, but we expect better indicators than in 2021," he noted.
Galstyan does not expect a serious capital outflow from Armenia.
