The prime ministers of Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic arrived by train in Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The prime ministers arrived in the city on behalf of the EU Council, Shmyhal tweeted, praising the courage of true friends.
The leaders will discuss supporting Ukraine and strengthening sanctions against Russian aggression, he added.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also tweeted a photo of himself talking to other visiting prime ministers.
It is here, in war-torn Kyiv, that history is being made. This is where freedom fights the world of tyranny. It is here that the future of all of us hangs in the balance. The EU supports Ukraine, which can count on the help of its friends - today we conveyed this message to Kyiv, he said.
