Briton Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is at Tehran airport and will return to the UK six years after she was detained and convicted in Iran, Tulip Siddiq, member of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, announced this on Wednesday on her Twitter page.

Nazanin is at the Tehran airport and is on her way home, Siddiq wrote.

Lawyer Khojat Kermani, who represents the interests of the British woman, who also has an Iranian passport, confirmed to Reuters that she will soon leave Iran along with another British citizen Anousheh Ashouri, who was also imprisoned in Iran.

The British government has not yet officially confirmed this information.
