Turkish and Ukrainian presidents Erdogan and Zelenskyy discussed the latest developments in connection with the Ukrainian crisis.

According to the press service of the Turkish president, Erdogan said that Ankara is making intensive diplomatic efforts to establish peace between Russia and Ukraine. According to him, Ankara seeks to establish a long-term ceasefire in Ukraine as soon as possible. He pointed out that the continuation of the war would not benefit either side.

Erdogan assured that he would continue his efforts to organize a meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia. He also highlighted the importance of effective humanitarian corridors.
