YEREVAN. – Armenia to be represented by singer Erik in the New Wave-2011 tenth international song contest. It opened on Tuesday in Jurmala. The contest will last till July 31.
Igor Krutoy and Raimonds Pauls who are co-chairs of the contest put their stars in the Stars’ parkway. Goran Bregovic, Seal and other famous singers opened the gala concert.
16 candidates from 13 states participate in the song contest.
