Rescuers found one of the recorders of the Boeing 737 passenger plane, which crashed in southern China, near the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong province, TASS reported, citing China's Xinhua news agency.
The China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 was flying from Kunming to Guangzhou crashed in southern China on Monday. There were 132 people aboard, including 123 passengers and nine crew members. There is no official information about casualties and victims of the accident as well at this time.
As aviation expert Wang Yang'an stated, engine failure could have caused the crash. He also stressed that it is too early to draw any conclusions as the readings of the black boxes need to be deciphered.
