France has frozen the assets of Russian businessmen worth more than 800 million euros, government spokesman Gabriel Attal said without giving details, Reuters reported.
Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said on Sunday that France has so far frozen about 150 million euros in bank accounts of individuals at French financial institutions in France and 539 million euros worth of real estate in the country.
France has also seized two Russian-owned yachts worth about $150 million, Le Maire said, adding that Russian assets worth about €850 million have been frozen.
