Japan to freeze the assets of another 25 Russian citizens and ban exports to 81 Russian organizations, the country's Finance Ministry said in a statement.

Thus, the total number of Russians who became victims of the Japanese asset freeze is 101 people.

According to the Ministry of Finance of Japan, Igor Shuvalov, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and the chairman of Vnesheconombank, as well as five relatives of businessman Sergei Chemezov, fall under the new sanctions.

The export of luxury goods will also be banned, the ministry said in a statement.
