The Government of Canada will allocate another 2.9 million Canadian dollars ($2.3 million) to help the country's indigenous peoples amid the situation with the discovery of children's graves of representatives of Indian tribes in the territories of specialized boarding schools, TASS reports.

The press service of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau noted that he had a meeting with one of the leaders of the indigenous peoples of the Pacific province of British Columbia. The allocated funds will be directed to local communities, and some of them will go to search for burial places that may be located in the province.
