US President Joe Biden said Monday that evidence must be gathered to put Russian leader Vladimir Putin on trial for war crimes related to his country's invasion of Ukraine, CNBC reported.
"He's a war criminal," Biden said of Putin amid reports of "mass killings of civilians by Russian troops in the city of Bucha."
"This guy is brutal and what's happening to Bucha is outrageous, and everyone's seen it,“ Biden told reporters.
Biden also said he plans to seek additional sanctions against Russia.
