French President Emmanuel Macron said he is ready to visit Kiev or any other Ukrainian city only if the visit is "useful" in finding a solution to the current crisis.
"I will not do it just to visit the embassy," he said in an interview with CNN's French affiliate BFMTV during a campaign in northern France ahead of the second round of the presidential election, adding that his visit should "provoke something, a new process."
"If we manage to resume the dialogue between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, perhaps the visit will be useful," Macron said.
