The phone talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan was constructive, said the Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov, haqqin.az reports.

“He noted that during the talks, further steps were discussed in continuation of the agreements reached by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and the EU, reached in Brussels.

The minister recalled that the parties are facing issues related to the peace treaty, the process of border delimitation, as well as humanitarian issues.

“Speaking about the creation of working groups to prepare a peace treaty and delimitation of borders, one should expect principles in terms of its format, level and compliance,” Jeyhun Bayramov said, adding that Azerbaijan is taking positive steps in this direction and expects the same from Armenia.
