Poland will host the first tests at a US anti-missile base in April, Rzeczpospolita reports.

The US base is located in the village of Redzikovo. It contains early warning radars and 24 RIM-161 Standard Missile 3 Block IIA interceptor missiles.

An exact plan and a clear schedule have already been developed, and all the necessary equipment has also been installed.

Poland's first strategic missile defense installation will be launched almost four years late and will be fully operational by the end of the year.

The construction of the missile defense base was delayed for several years due to disputes between the US Department of Defense and the contractor.
