May futures for copper on the Comex exchange fell 0.3% to $4.7878 per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
On the London Metal Exchange (LME), following the results of Thursday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months increased by 0.16%, to $10,315, aluminum - by 1.53%, to $3,285.5, zinc fell by 1.11% , up to $4,412.
