YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: A session dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Yerevan in June, the preparatory work for which has already begun. After the [RA PM] Nikol Pashinyan-[Russian Federation (RF) President] Vladimir Putin meeting [in Moscow] yesterday, there was an announcement that RF President Vladimir Putin shall visit Armenia in June to take part in that very session.

Let us note that the last time RF President Vladimir Putin had arrived in Armenia was in 2019—to the EEU session. At that time, the fact that Nikol Pashinyan had not personally gone and met Vladimir Putin at the airport became a subject of wide commentary. Let us note: yesterday Pashinyan was met in Moscow [airport] by RF Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.

And while the preparatory work for the [upcoming] CSTO session [in Armenia] is underway, discussions have started again on whether this time the RA Prime Minister will meet the RF President [at the airport].
