YEREVAN. – Temperature will not change in the coming days. High temperature, +39 and +40 degrees Celsius, will remain till Thursday, head of Armstatehydromet of Hydrometeorology Operational Center Zaruhi Petrosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Thursday will register reduce of the temperature, but it will go sharply down by Friday, she added. In Armenia the heat reached +40 degrees Celsius on July 30, 31, and August 1, Petrosyan had told the journalists earlier. According to her, the air temperature above 40 degrees C was recorded in Armenia only twice, most recently in 2002 when the temperature reached +43 degrees Celsius. Petrosyan advised to dress in bright colors, preferably white, and do take plenty of liquid and, if possible, avoid direct sunlight.
