YEREVAN. – Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan of Armenia received Toivo Klaar, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, the press service of the government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the course implementation of the ninth point of the November 9, 2020 statement by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, and President Vladimir Putin of Russia; that is, of the ongoing work on unblocking regional transport.
The deputy PM presented Armenia's position in this regard, emphasizing this process as a guarantee for the strengthening of lasting peace and stability in the region.
Issues related to the establishment of a bilateral commission on border issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as regarding the course of implementation of the agreements reached at the trilateral meeting in Brussels on December 14, 2021 on the restoration of the regional railway were conferred about as well.
