On the one hand, Armenia has raised issues related to the CSTO mechanisms; on the other hand, it has always stated that it is interested in the CSTO mechanisms working. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated about this on Public TV, answering the program host's remark that the recent Pashinyan-Putin statement's point on the CSTO does not make reference to Armenia's concerns about the CSTO activities, whereas it has information that cooperation with this organization should be developed and continued.

"At the beginning of this year, those mechanisms worked, and we are interested in it being continuous. When we raise public issues, it does not mean that we are not interested in that organization working. We remain interested that the CSTO mechanisms work, and we continue to expect steps to be taken," Grigoryan said.

"Raising questions does not yet mean that we are not interested in it not working. Raising questions means that we are interested that the mechanisms work, and we have an expectation that such announcements enable for these mechanisms to work," the secretary of the Security Council explained.
