Colombia should prepare for rising food prices and hope that there will be no shortage of food due to the situation in Ukraine, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Marta Lucia Ramirez said, according to Gamingdeputy.
According to the Colombian Foreign Minister, no country can avoid rising food prices and shortages of fertilizers needed to produce it.
Earlier, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that rising prices for food, energy and commodities hit mainly developing countries and low-income countries.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for restrictions on Russian exports to be lifted to ensure a steady flow of food and energy.
