Divine services in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide were held in the Armenian churches of Ukraine on April 24, AnalitikaUA.net reports.
The commemoration of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, despite the martial law in the country, was traditionally held in all regions of Ukraine. Commemorative events started with a prayer service in all Armenian churches in Ukraine. In the capital of Ukraine, the prayer service was led by the head of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan.
The Armenians of Ukraine are actively showing a civil position both in relation to their historical homeland and in protecting the interests of Ukraine.
