The price of gold on Monday morning is reduced on the approaching prospects for further tightening of the monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve System (FRS), according to trading data.

The price of June gold futures on the New York Comex exchange falls by $16.4, or 0.84%, to $1918.4 per troy ounce. May silver futures are down 1.74% to $23,837 an ounce.
