In Belarus, a bill, which provides for the death penalty for attempted terrorist attacks, was passed in two readings, Telegram channel of the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament reported.
The bill proposes amendments to the Criminal Code of the republic.
According to the press service of the parliament, the purpose of the law is "to have a deterrent effect on destructive elements, as well as to demonstrate the decisive struggle of the state against terrorist activity.”
