YEREVAN. – The police have detained two persons from Republic Square in Yerevan—and on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Police of Armenia.

It was noted that nine more citizens were apprehended in the Armenian capital—and for not carrying out the lawful requests of the police officers.

For several days now, the opposition is carrying out decentralized actions of protests in various parts of Yerevan.
