The German chemical-industrial company Henkel decided to stop business in Belarus amid the crisis in Ukraine.

The company recalled that in connection with the situation in Ukraine in mid-April, Henkel decided to stop operations in Russia.

On April 19, Henkel announced that, in light of developments in Ukraine, it had decided to abandon its business in Russia.

The company assured that during the preparation for leaving Russia, 2.5 thousand employees of the company in Russia will continue to work and receive a salary.

Henkel manufactures adhesives, detergents, cosmetics and personal care products at 11 factories in Russia. At the beginning of March, Henkel stopped all investments, as well as advertising and sponsorship activities in Russia, amid the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
