YEREVAN. - Inflation rate made 3.5% in Armenia in the first half of 2011, says the report issued by CIS Interstate Statistical Committee.

Belarus registered the highest rise in prices among CIS states, 36.2% in the mentioned period. The second is Kyrgyzstab with 7.2% inflation followed by Kazakhstan with 5.1%, Tajikistan with 7.1%, Ukraine with 5.9%, Moldova with 5% and Azerbaijan with 2.5%.

In June Armenia registered 1.4% deflation, whereas Azerbaijan recorded 0.9% deflation as compared with May.

On average prices went up by 0.5% in the CIS states.
