YEREVAN. - International Organization for Migration (IOM) issues a report aimed at assisting Armenian Government in formation of national policy of managing migration data.

The report was prepared in the framework of IOM’s Prevention of Irregular Migration regional program financed by the Government of Italy.

According to the conducted study, although Armenia accumulates huge data in migration field, it’s still necessary to establish a cohesive and interlinked system of migration data collection and exchange, which would reflect the national needs of migration statistical work, regional priorities of the field and international experience.
